Mt experience of Mr Carrim was excellent, both in terms of his surgical expertise and in the way he related to me as his patient with a kind , sincere and humane manner. He took time to explain the procedure and his attention to follow up care was outstanding and greatly appreciated at a time of anxiety about the potential impact of trauma to my eye. I cannot offer any suggestion in relation to how my experience could have been improved and would ask to see him again as my first choice, should I have any further difficulties, with confidence that I would be in the best hands to achieve the best possible outcome.

Dr Carrim my only concerns I had after my appointment with you on the 9th of February was that I didn't ask what percentage of success the injection had also, as you can understand it was quite a shock to to hear the options I had ,at the moment I am still coming to terms with what you explained to me therefore I have still to give it more thought but if I need to speak to you before my next appointment I will undoubtably make an earlier appointment with you

I was seen by Mr Zia Carrim on the 9th of Feb.he explained to me that I could either leave my macular degeneration to see if it would right itself or have an injection but he told me either way I could lose my sight in the left eye ,I did forget to ask about the percentage of successes after the injection ,also never got to discuss the operation what I could have my only fear wth this is I am unable to have a general anaesthetic due to lung and heart disease .

It seems that our encounter fell short of your expectations. I am sorry. I recall talking you through the options and also offering you the flexibility of reverting to me sooner if you change your mind. Might this be a good option if you have concerns?

I became a patient of Mr Carrim approximately 6 to 8 months ago. From the offset I found him enthusiastic and prepared to talk to me about my eye problems at great length, which gave me more knowledge and great confidence. I have acute eye problems, which he is managing admirably, I feel that one day he will achieve what I am looking for, Better eyesight.
